I've been thinking about my recent OffKai trip. I had a lot of fun and wanted to share what I enjoyed, but I found it hard to talk about it when I got around to doing a stream recap. I didn't have pictures to share, I didn't really collect merch to show on camera (I'm not much of a material person), and I didn't have a plan for how to cover what I did during the trip. When I talked about the trip, I felt like I jumped around from event to event, out of order. I ended up feeling dissatisfied with the stream I did.

I was thinking about this when I took a trip along Highway 1 with my family, visiting national parks in California and Oregon. I wanted to make people feel like they were along for a ride with me, so I decided to make sure to take photos of moments I felt were interesting to talk about and videos that showed what each place as like. These helped me tell a more coherent timeline later.

When thinking about how to share these pictures, I was thinking about Yuyu's recent debut stream. I thought it would be fun to fill out a form too, so I ended up making a template for each day. While I was filling it out on stream, I realized that I was essentially scrapbooking, hahaha! The template could use a lot of work, but I'm happy with how this renewed attempt went. Hopefully the next recap stream will be even better.
