• Decided to start tracking the URL sources of all the images I use.

• Moved one puzzle to the sunfish exhibit and made one new puzzle for the sea nettle exhibit.

• Playtesting feedback:

  • Make the level switch buttons bigger and easier to hit
  • Add reset button I don't really want to implement this right now because of the ui/ux work required, and it's only come up once so far.
  • Make puzzle border bounds more subtle, not black. People keep thinking that they might also be a path that is used in the puzzle.
  • Show big play button when puzzle is viewed
  • Help menu with controls
    • Maybe add popups or background graphics showing controls as necessary
    • Maybe add help button on levels that add more context/hints
  • Add mouse-only rotation controls It seems like action strength in godot doesn't take into account mouse wheel. This would be a significant effort to implement, so i'm ignoring it.
  • You shouldn't be able to hover over map icons when level select is open.
  • Switch extra level with the one right before it
  • Jitter pinned pieces if a user tries to interact with it? I don't want to do this, because I'm worried it might make a player think that they could eventually move the piece.
  • Clicking off of the level select should close the window
